So during this time of year I notice that my curls become very dry, brittle feeling, hard, and even a bit scrunched up into smaller weird curls.
I have been dealing with this for the past 2 weeks, even though I do my Olive Oil treatment and deep conditioning I feel my hair still needs a bit more moisture during these colder seasons.
So today I decided to do something about this crazy hair. I decided to make an Egg Yolk Conditioner!
Items needed to make this Egg Yolk Conditioner are:
1 egg (2 if you have long hair)
1 teaspoon of olive oil
1 cup of warm water
I got the instructions to do this Egg Yolk Conditioner from http://www.ehow.com/how_2088996_egg-yolk-hair-conditioner.html So check it out if you are interested in trying this.
I put the egg yolk, olive oil, and warm water into a bowl and stirred it all up, Then I got into the shower and wet my hair all over. After wetting my hair in shower I poured half of the Egg Yolk Conditioner onto the top of my head (careful not to let it get in my face) and massaged it into my scalp, after that I poured some of it into my hands and made sure to cover all the ends of my hair. I rinsed it all out and applied a little cholesterol deep conditioner to my hair and tied it in a bun to leave it that way over night.
My hair is still wet right now so I'm not sure if there are any good results but I will definitely let you guys know how it turns out tomorrow and if my hair is any better. I hope to have a good report!
In the mean time I heard about something called the Curly Girl Method...it sounds very interesting to me especially since I am a "Curly Girl"!!! It's a book by Lorraine Massey called Curly Girl so I will be on the look out for this book and I will let you guys know what its all about!
Talk to you tomorrow,

No possible good can come from putting egg yolk in your hair. It will stink and your scalp will get stuck to your pillow. just stick to pantene pro V and stop the damn experiments! Luv u.
